Summary KolanSuperfilter ensures the most effective motor oil cleaning
and engine protection due to unique patented technology. According to recent
researches, engine service life increases minimum by 20%.
Description
Lets review the
process of a filtration. Approximately 100 tons of an oil pass through one
filter for 10000 km of run. Paper
cartridge (1) filters particles up to 35-40 micron; this means that these
particles stay on the paper. Smaller particles, being milled in engine, create
oil mixture, which clog main filtering element. On the other hand, bigger
particles conglomerate in a scoop until non-return valve opens and release them
into your engine. Each
lubricating system has non-return valve: motor oil passes through through it when:
-engine is warming up and oil is too cold to pass through a filtering material;
-you press sharp a pedal of gas;
-paper filter cartridge is dirty.
So, each time when you actuate engine, the non-return valve release "a company" of abrasive particles which damage crankshaft and linings.

Kolan Super filter contain additional filter cartridge (1) before the non-return valve. This solution protects your engine from abrasive particles, when non-return valve is opened and additional cartridge filters abrasive particles. Because of obvious advantages of the technology, all major Russian and Ukrainian car manufacturers (GAZ, VAZ, UAZ , Tavria) recommend Kolan Superfilters as an exclusive oil cleaning solution.
Kolan Superfilters protected with national and international patents.
Advantages
Here are the results of comparable testing by Automotive Parts Testing Center of Russian State Science Center. We tested the following products: Bosch 0451103029, Mahle OC51, Purolator L1172000, Champion C102, Mann W820/21.
All filters have similar paper cartridges. To compare effectiveness of each filter, we imitated start of cold engine, so we can evaluate reliability of engine protection from abrasive particles.
To do this, we pumped 10 liters of oil with temperature 20 through each filter three times. We added 3 gramm of quartz powder before each pumping. (See numbers 1,2,3 on the graph) After pumping we made x-ray and fluorescent testing to measure quantity of particles, remained after filtration: particles per million (PPM). Obvious leaders are Kolan Superfilters, which contain the smallest quantities of impurities.
